We can look back on an extremely successful 59th after-work lecture on the topic of “Asset Allocation and AI”, which was organized in collaboration with the CFA Society Liechtenstein. Sebastian Stöckl, Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Liechtenstein, gave an exciting and thought-provoking presentation that bridged the gap between cutting-edge academic research and real-world investment practice.

Master of Innovative Finance students Hana Gashi and Leonhard Gräf represented the University of Liechtenstein at the Swiss Green Economy Symposium (SGES) 2025 in Winterthur this September. Their research on blended finance and innovative financing, developed within a semester module of the program, was presented at the Swiss Green Economy Symposium as part of the Innovationsforum on Innovative Financing Solutions.

Prof. Dr. Jan vom Brocke, Visiting Professor at the Liechtenstein Business School of the University of Liechtenstein, has been elected as the next President of the international Association for Information Systems (AIS), the world association for research and teaching in information systems.

A study published in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, one of the leading journals in the field of Information Systems, with the involvement of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Johannes Schneider from the Liechtenstein Business School, focuses on an often-overlooked aspect: the quality of relationships in social networks.

On November 25, experts from the regional financial sector, academics and interested parties gathered at the University of Liechtenstein for the conference “Artificial intelligence: hype or sustainable transformation?”, a collaboration between Assistant Professor Dr. Sebastian Stöckl and the Liechtenstein Business School with PLEXUS Investments, led by CEO Günter Jäger. Aurelia Rauch from Bergos led through the afternoon.

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Design Science Research Academy”, led by Dr. Michael Gau, postdoctoral researcher at the Liechtenstein Business School, an online seminar on teaching Design Science Research (DSR) was successfully held. 111 lecturers from 97 universities in 30 countries took part.
