Where are you from?

Where are you from?

Discussing (with) the global architect working in local contexts.
This symposium brings together some of the brightest emerging talent within architecture and research. Distinctly international through their upbringing, education, teaching or practice all speakers work in a variety of environments and cultures that often differ from their personal background. Despite (or because of?) their global perspective on architecture, their work often addresses local conditions and building cultures. The discussions will focus on the role of the global architect today and his/ her personal approach to architecture within a local context.

Confirmed speakers are: Kathrin Aste (Austria), Andri Gerber (Switzerland), Chris Lee (UK), Paula Nascimento (Angola), Stefano Rabolli Pansera (Italy) and Eric Schuldenfrei (USA). The event is moderated by Peter Staub (Switzerland).
