Announcement: New library service and opening hours

Starting September 2, 2024, members of the University of Liechtenstein
will be able to to use the library and the workstations with the UNILI badge
also after service hours.

Service hours

Internal and external patrons are welcome to use the library during service hours.

The lending desk is fully staffed and all library services take place, such as various advisory services, e.g. literature research, pick-up interlibrary loan requests, lending and return media, collection of reserved items from the pick-up shelf, use the workstations and other services provided by library staff.

Expanded opening hours

Students and employees of the University of Liechtenstein have access to our library after service hours with their UNILI badge.
The lending desk is closed during the expanded opening hours.

Available during these opening hours are:

• 20 study and workstations
• Research station
• Access to the media stocks in the library
• Borrowing media via self-checkout terminal
• Returning media via book return box (in the cafeteria)
• Collecting reserved media on the pick-up shelf

Important notes for members of the University of Liechtenstein

Always have your UNILI badge and UNILI ID ready to identify yourself on request. You get the digital ID card on my.uni.li.    

The student ID card (FSXXXXXXXX) or employee ID card (FMYYYYYYY) is required to borrow media by yourself.

Do not forget to create a SWITCH edu-ID account and register with this ID at SLSP/swisscovery.li in order to use the full scope of our research portal and to borrow or request media from all SLSP libraries.

To achieve this, it is essential that you link your personal SWITCH edu-ID with the UNILI organization ID.
