EnterpriseDescription
Leadership is defined as a process of interpersonal influence, taking place in organizations or groups. Influenced are perceptions, attitudes, behavior and performance of individuals or groups in the organization. However, this also means that both, leader and follower, are located in a specific context. Context-based leadership theories disengage from the approach, to make specific leadership behavior statical and applicable. In this research project leadership will be examined in the context of dynamicly growing companies. In particular, the context variable of growth-driven organization units as part of a corporate entrepreneurship, corporate venturing or research and development department play a major role. The aim of this thesis is to examine the leadership in the described context with the Full-Range-Leadership model, but also with the Shared- and Empowering-Leadership model as well as their relationship to managerial success. The various research questions will be answered within a mixed-method approach. Keywords
