The research aims to study the effects of technological innovation on organizational behavior, from individual, organizational, and societal perspectives. AI can benefit productivity, innovation, and motivation but also cause anxiety and job displacement. Addressing issues such as biases, privacy, and security is crucial for successful AI implementation. Effective leadership involves familiarity with AI, clear communication of benefits and limitations, and support for employees. Integrating AI requires reevaluating job design, workforce planning, and investing in skill development. Embracing AI enables organizations to transform decision-making and gain a competitive edge. The study will identify challenges, opportunities, and effective practices for navigating AI adoption, contributing to existing literature on organizational behavior and AI.

Practical Application

The research project examines the impacts of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into organizations. It sheds light on the challenges and opportunities of AI adoption, such as its effects on decision-making, planning, customer service, customer experience, innovation, competitiveness, as well as corporate culture and structure. The goal is to develop best practices for integrating AI into organizations, focusing on employee training, change management, and ethical use of AI. The results can inform recommendations to policymakers and practitioners to enhance the competitiveness of businesses and promote sustainable development.

The research project is particularly relevant for the region of Liechtenstein, as it examines the effects of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into organizations on employee behavior and corporate culture.
