How to Create Sustainable Enterprises
Through our research we explore how organisations can use information technologies to design and implement more sustainable work practices. Through a multi-year case study at one of the world’s largest software solution providers, we have identified the key capabilities required in such transformations. Specifically, information technologies enable organisations to initiate organisation-wide sensemaking, which then provides a launch pad for more sustainable practices. The results of our research have been published in one of the leading journals in the field, MIS Quarterly.
