How is the programme structured?

The Master’s degree programme in Innovative Finance focuses on Asset and Wealth Management, Risk Management and International Finance. The programme is unique thanks to its research orientation, a strong international approach, the CFA-, CAIA- and GARP-oriented curriculum and its personal study environment.

Around 35 students from all over the world are admitted every year. The programme provides insights into current research topics in finance. It also helps students to strengthen their competencies in scientific methodologies through the completion of research projects. Practice-oriented MasterLAB modules enhance teamwork and leadership skills. In addition, excursions and educational travel as well as the opportunity to spend a semester abroad deliver insights into different cultures and international financial markets.

The programme is modularly structured and lectures usually take place three or four days a week, with occasional lectures on a Saturday. The entire programme is taught in English. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork within small groups, which ensures exceptionally close contact between lecturers and students.
