The University of Liechtenstein promotes the compatibility of elite sport and studies by actively supporting dual careers. Due to the high demands in both areas, it is important to plan the course of study at an early stage. Our study programme managers are the central contact persons for students pursuing a career in sport and help with study planning and the coordination of applications for elite sport status.
Students must submit a form and supporting documents in order to apply for «elite sport status». The university then checks whether the criteria have been met. The programme management informs the applicants of the decision and documents it. With the recognized status, students can apply for exceptions to examinations and attendance in accordance with the guideline on the compatibility of studies and elite sport.
