The Research Fund (FFF) of the University of Liechtenstein supports research projects of scientists at the University of Liechtenstein that are thematically anchored in the core topics of the University. Researchers from all schools are eligible to apply. In addition to funds for independent research projects, researchers can apply for funds to support the application phase at public research funding institutions, as well as to reduce the funding gap for publicly funded projects. Doctoral students have the opportunity to apply for funds for an independent research project within the Young Talents Programme.
In addition, there is the possibility of acquiring publicly sourced third-party funding. The Research Funding Office actively supports researchers in the planning, acquisition, and processing of such funding. Researchers at the University of Liechtenstein can apply for public funding from the following institutions:
- EU ERASMUS+
- Innosuisse
- Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF)
- Austrian Science Fund (FWF)
- Lake Constance Arts & Sciences Association
