The Liechtenstein Economic Institute has been organizing the lecture series on “The current political economy” since 2006, with a view to sparking debate on current political and economical issues with representatives from science, business, politics, business associations and the public administration in Liechtenstein. The KOFL regularly hosts talks by visiting experts from home and abroad which are relevant to Liechtenstein. Among the issues discussed thus far are the government debt crisis and state bankruptcy, the financial crises and the Swiss Federal Council’s growth policy.
