In September 2012, the part-time continuing education programmes of the Chairs for Law, Banking and Finance as well as Taxation at the University of Liechtenstein are about to begin. An information evening will be held on 4 July 2012.
Information evening for the Executive Master of Laws (LL. M.) and EMBA programmes
The information event provides interested parties with the opportunity to find out more about the curricula, teaching concepts and study periods, as well as the interdisciplinary links between the four Master’s degree programmes in Corporate Law, Banking and Securities Law, International Asset Management, and National and International Taxation . Furthermore, the Academic Directors will be available for personal conversations. The degree programmes are aimed at academics who wish to gain scientifically sound and practice-oriented additional qualifications. The information evening will be held in lecture hall 3 at the University of Liechtenstein in Vaduz, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
Four degree programmes with prospects
The degree programme in National and International Taxation focuses on national and international tax laws of Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria and Switzerland. In the degree programme in Corporate Law, participants gain basic and in-depth knowledge that enables them to offer qualified legal advice across the borders. The degree programme in Banking and Securities Law examines European financial-market, banking and securities law as a whole, including Liechtenstein law, while the participants of the Executive Master’s programme in International Asset Management learn how global financial markets operate, and increase their knowledge of investment strategies and alternative investments, among other things.
Interdisciplinary qualification
Together, the students of the four Executive Master’s degree programmes will also be working on interdisciplinary case studies during a modular workshop. In addition, they can attend individual modules of other Executive Master’s degree programmes free of charge. A joint study trip to Hong Kong and Singapore is also planned.
