The START Liechtenstein network at the University of Liechtenstein invites interested parties to the next Pioneers’ Club event on Thursday, 13 December 2012, from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Entrepreneurs from Liechtenstein and Vorarlberg will present successful business ideas relating to sport.

The series of events is aimed at companies, students and interested parties. The next event will feature Daniel Zech, Managing Director of the laendlekicker.at and laendlekicker.li websites , which were founded in 2010, and Jürgen Lämmermann, the franchise holder for the Bodystreet sports studio chain. Ländlekicker.at/li is an Internet platform by fans for fans, where football fans can upload their favourite videos and make them available to be rated. Bodystreet sports studio now has over 140 branches  in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, offering 20-minute training sessions, which were rated as effective by the German Sport University Cologne and the University of Bayreuth, based on the motto, “The time-saving fitness studio”. Jürgen Lämmermann himself runs three studios in Vorarlberg. As part of the Pioneers’ Club event, both company founders will provide background information on their “sporty business ideas” and the advantages of being self-employed. During the panel discussion with the participants and at the subsequent drinks reception, participants and speakers will have the opportunity to exchange ideas.

The Pioneers’ Club by START Liechtenstein
At the Pioneers’ Club events, entrepreneurs and investors discuss their experiences related to founding companies and answer questions from participants. The idea of the Pioneers’ Club is to bring together entrepreneurs and students, plus other interested parties, and this forms part of the core expertise of the programmes offered by the START organizations (St. Gallen, Munich, Nuremberg-Erlangen and Lausanne). START Liechtenstein enjoys the benefit of the innovative entrepreneurial spirit in the Rhine Valley region. Supported and initiated by students, START’s aim is to promote entrepreneurial initiatives at European universities. Alongside students, lecturers and researchers, the network consists of entrepreneurs, politicians and other experts.
