The Institute of Architecture and Planning invites to the public final presentations at the University of Liechtenstein on 8 and 9 February 2012 . The vernissage of the semester exhibition on architecture «Print Scrn – snapshots», including an awards ceremony, will be held in the foyer on 9 February 2012 at 7.00 p.m.
During the 2011/2012 winter semester, numerous architectural projects on various topics were developed in the 13 design studios of the Institute of Architecture and Planning at the University of Liechtenstein. These include visions and specific suggestions for the conversion of a hotel in Mulegns, Graubünden; new school buildings in Ruggell; community neighbourhoods in Lustenau and Widnau; development suggestions for Vaduz; as well as dwellings and “nests” that can be discovered in the vicinity of the university. All interested parties are invited to the public final presentations on Wednesday, 8 February, and Thursday, 9 February 2012, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., in the studio, foyer and auditorium of the University of Liechtenstein.
Student competition and awards ceremony
The semester exhibition is always a snapshot of the current projects of the degree programmes in Architecture. Thus, the students’ assignments from the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes will be exhibited in the form of print screens in the University of Liechtenstein’s foyer this year. On a conventional PC keyboard, the “Print Scrn” key is located in the top right-hand corner. It enables you to capture, as a still image, what is currently displayed on your screen. Every student designed such an image for the exhibition. The approximately 120 images will be assessed according to their originality and force of expression of the design project by an expert jury, which will then award the best submissions. Audience prizes will also be awarded through a vote on Facebook.

The exhibition of the awarded images and all the other submissions will be open to the public from 10 February to 18 March 2012. The vernissage and awards ceremony will be held in the foyer of the University of Liechtenstein on 9 February 2012, at 7.00 p.m.
On 8 and 9 February 2012, students of the degree programmes in Architecture at the University of Liechtenstein will present and discuss their designs from the 2011/2012 winter semester during the public final presentations.
