At a theme-based evening event for the degree programme Executive Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Taxation, Professor Alfred Storck, University of St. Gallen, spoke about tax planning for multinational corporations. In this context, he discussed current topics and problems in corporate governance and tax planning, legal structures, group financing and tax planning, as well as permanent establishments in multinational companies. In a stimulating exchange with participants and Academic Director Professor Martin Wenz, current developments in international corporate tax planning and a variety of case studies were also discussed, and solution approaches for fundamental problem areas were identified.
