The University of Liechtenstein, the NTB Interstate University of Applied Sciences in Buchs and the University of Teacher Education Unterstrass in Zurich are the winners in the respective categories. Around 2,000 students rated their courses based on the criteria lecturers/teachers, college equipment, college organisation, supporting programme/environment and educational content. For each criterion it was possible to award one to five stars. It was also taken into account whether the students would recommend their degree programme.
A friendly, personal atmosphere often tips the scales
The evaluation shows that the winning colleges in the categories universities, universities of applied science and universities of teacher education are rated positively by their students particularly due to their friendly atmosphere. The close contact between the students and lecturers as well as the very personal support provided are important aspects for the students. These factors appear to have contributed to the University of Liechtenstein reaching a place in the university ranking in front of the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and the University of St. Gallen. “We are delighted with the positive feedback on Eduwo for the still relatively new University of Liechtenstein. This reflects the satisfaction of our students with their course content and their future prospects in the international Lake Constance region”, Jürgen Brücker, Rector of the University of Liechtenstein, is pleased to report.
