PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Research is the global technology research unit of SAP, which significantly contributes to SAP's product portfolio by identifying and shaping emerging IT trends and generating breakthrough technologies through applied research. The primary goal of the Swiss Research Centers is to conduct application-oriented research in joint projects with academic and research partners, which are drawn from all over Europe. Located to the campus of ETH Zürich and University of St. Gallen (HSG), the SAP Research Center in Zürich focuses on application-oriented research in the "Internet of Things". This combines SAP's technological know-how with the expertise of ETH Zürich and the leading business school of St. Gallen.
