At Friday, 20th May 2011, the final presentation of Accenture Campus Challenge 2011 took place at the University of Liechtenstein.
As part of a module in both the master’s program Business Process Management and the bachelor’s program Information Systems students were working on the issue of “Sustainability” in the Campus Challenge, organized by the internationally operating IT-consultancy company Accenture.
The task of the master students was oriented towards business management and included the development of a concept towards sustainability for a corporation in the form of a case-study. The students of the bachelor program worked on the development of a technologically oriented solution in the area of "Competitive advantage through smart sustainability".
Last week the students will presented their results in a final presentation. In June the best and most innovative teams of the University of Liechtenstein have to compete against teams of other Universities of the region in a regional competition to get into the next level. At the final competition in July the winner of the best teams of Austria, Germany and Switzerland face another challenge in competing against each other.
More than 80 Universities participate in the Accenture Campus Challenge 2011. The teams are supported by Andrea Herbst and Dr. Bernd Schenk, lecturer at the Martin Hilti Chair of Business Process Management at the Institute of Information Systems.
