As part of a module in both the master’s program Business Process Management and the bachelor’s program Information students deal with the issue of “Sustainability” in the Accenture Campus Challenge.
The task of the master students is oriented towards business management and includes the development of a concept towards sustainability for a corporation in the form of a case-study. The students of the bachelor program work on the development of a technologically oriented solution in the area of "Competitive advantage through smart sustainability".
Groups of 4-5 students are set up as consultancy teams and have to develop an innovative solution. The results will be presented at the end of May to their “customers”. In June the best and most innovative teams of the University of Liechtenstein have to compete against teams of other Universities of the region in a regional competition to get into the next level. At the final competition in July the winner of the best teams of Austria, Germany and Switzerland face another challenge in competing against each other.
More than 80 Universities participate in the Accenture Campus Challenge 2011. The teams are supported by Andrea Herbst and Dr. Bernd Schenk, lecturer at the Martin Hilti Chair of Business Process Management.
