How did you find out about the University of Liechtenstein and why did you decide to study here?
The university’s location between St. Gallen and Chur was perfect for me. I was also attracted by the mix of people with students from Vorarlberg. After a chat or two with alumni I happened to know, the decision was an easy one. From the very beginning, it was also important that the programme had a strong practical focus.

To what extent have your studies helped you in your current position?
A great deal! I had the necessary know-how to found my own company Enluf. It is also helpful now with regard to the key activities of sales, marketing and strategic management.

When and why did you take the decision to become self-employed and start your own company?
I had been thinking about it for some time, and autumn 2013 seemed to be the right moment. You could say it was a decision based on the principle: “If not now, then when?” The idea was there, as were a real interest and the desire to change my everyday working life. Everything else followed from that.

What advice would you give the current students at the University of Liechtenstein from the perspective of an alumnus?
Students should first find out what is important for them and what they want to use their education for in their own, quite individual future.

Do you have any professional contact with other University of Liechtenstein alumni?
Very little up to now. I am hoping that this will change ...

What was your most important experience at the University of Liechtenstein?
It is difficult to pick out one single experience. I think it is the sum of practice-relevant tools you acquire along the way.
