The University of Liechtenstein’s next round-table discussion on BPM will be held after the summer break, on 29 August 2012. The event will focus on the topic “Business process management skills”.
The round-table discussion on BPM at the Institute of Information Systems unites individuals from practice-oriented and scientific areas with an interest in process management. In the form of quarterly events, the round-table discussions on BPM provide a platform for knowledge transfer and for networking in the region of the Rhine Valley. Every meeting focuses on a specific topic with regard to BPM. The meetings are informal, interactive and open to anyone who is interested.
What is a BPM professional required to know?
What do business process management experts have to know, and what kind of skills should they possess? What kind of organizational roles are differentiated in BPM? What are the required job profiles? These and other questions will be explored by the team of the Institute of Information Systems at the next round-table discussion on BPM at the University of Liechtenstein on Wednesday, 29 August 2012. After a welcome speech by the Head of the Institute, Professor Jan vom Brocke, Dr. Oliver Müller, assistant professor at the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management, will present an analysis of BPM job advertisements on monster.com. The subsequent discussion will focus on the question “Where is BPM anchored in your company?”, with enough time to talk about specific examples from participants’ experiences in practice. At the networking drinks reception, participants will also have the opportunity to discuss the topics in more detail and establish new contacts.
The event is free; however, we kindly ask you to register by sending an e-mail to oliver.mueller@uni.li.
