At the 2013 Information Day in November, around 250 prospective students had the opportunity to learn about our degree programmes and continuing education possibilities first hand. Alongside providing facts about the University, it was important to enable those attending to get a taste of the personal, friendly atmosphere on campus.
At the 2013 Information Day in November, around 250 prospective students had the opportunity to learn about our degree programmes and continuing education possibilities first hand. Alongside providing facts about the University, it was important to enable those attending to get a taste of the personal, friendly atmosphere on campus.
Students who took on the role of tour guides, taking prospective students on guided tours of the campus or giving insights into their experiences as students at the University, also contributed to the personal atmosphere, as did the lecturers and members of staff at the study counselling stands. The majority of students showed a particular interest in the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Architecture and Business Administration. Contributions from the student initiatives and organizations as well as from the International Office rounded off the whole experience.
Student social media reporters gave live accounts of the event via Facebook, the microblogging site Twitter and the photo-sharing platform Instagram, and the fun factor of the newly set up Social Media Box attracted visitors, students and members of staff alike.
