From 20 to 25 January 2013, the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein will be holding the BPM Winter School for the second time. During the six-day course, students will be given in-depth insights into current state-of-the-art practices in the area of business process management (BPM).

The BPM Winter School is held once a year by the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management at the University of Liechtenstein’s Institute of Information Systems and is aimed at students from the Bachelor’s degree programmes in Information Systems, Business Administration and IT . During the six-day course, students are given in-depth insights into current state-of-the-art practices in the area of BPM. In addition to BPM methods, tools and systems, the programme includes topics such as BPM and employees, BPM and corporate strategy, and BPM culture. Students also learn to put their acquired skills into practice through case studies and exercises.

Conditions for applications
In order to be eligible for participation in the BPM Winter School, students are required to have attended introductory courses in information systems, business administration or IT. Furthermore, sound knowledge of English and preparation of the specific literature that is made available before the start of the course are expected. Upon successful completion of the BPM Winter School, which involves passing a written exam at the end of the week, students are awarded 5 ECTS credits. Students may choose to participate without taking the exam, but will then not be awarded any credits.

The fee for the course, including accommodation in the Schaan-Vaduz youth hostel in a shared room, meals and evening events, amounts to EUR 375.00 (early registration by 23 November 2012) or EUR 425.00 (registration by 10 December 2012, at the latest). Should you require additional information or have questions regarding the application procedure, please contact Dr. Oliver Müller from the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management at the University of Liechtenstein.
