Lecture Goals
The module focuses on competences in the development of software systems supporting business processes. Compared to systems modelling, conception and realization of software-solutions for distributed systems are in focus. Students know suitable methods and are able to evaluate alternatives.
In combination with knowledge from BPA and BPI modules they are enabled to evaluate solutions with relation to the dimensions organization and business process on a technical and economic layer.

Admission Requirements
Attending the module Systems Modelling in advance to this module is recommended. Experience in object-oriented modelling and basic knowledge in programming concepts are advantageous.
Exam Modalities
The first exam will cover the requirements of the course, namely Part I and Part II of Laitinen (2004), which are also partly taught in the preparatory class (http://www.uni.li/tabid/251/id/36697.67/default.aspx). The two other exams will cover the content of the course Objectoriented software development. Details on the content of the course will be announced during the lectures and on moodle.
