This two-part seminar provides participants with an overview of criminal procedure rules, in particular with regard to the governing statutory provisions, their practical application and the new developments.

In the second part, the speakers will discuss further aspects of criminal procedure which are especially relevant in practice. The main focus will be placed on investigative measures. However, during the course of the seminar, prosecution/the final court hearing, alternative sentencing, appeal at first instance, objective procedure and criminal proceedings against legal entities will also be discussed. The seminar will be completed by a presentation on amendments which have been made to the criminal procedure rules, thus underscoring the wish to impart to participants statutory amendments, knowledge of which is essential for their success at work.

Target Audience

Lawyers, trustees, employees in banks, insurance companies and financial service providers, as well as any people interested in specifically gaining an understanding of diverse legal issues.
