The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) occupies a pivotal role in safeguarding and advancing fundamental human rights, particularly in today's political and social situation in Europe. Its rulings have far-reaching implications for jurisprudence not only in Liechtenstein and Europe but also resonating globally. As a prominent international court, the ECtHR establishes standards for safeguarding individual freedoms and significantly contributes to the advancement of international law.
