Dr. Alexandra Butterstein, LL.M., has been appointed Assistant Professor (with tenure track) of Corporate, Foundation and Trust Law by the University Council, effective May 1, 2021. She heads the Institute of Business Law and is the representative of the Chair of Corporate, Foundation and Trust Law. In addition to teaching bachelor's and master's programs in business and economics and in continuing education, Dr. Butterstein is also the academic director of the chair's continuing education programs. The appointment committee particularly emphasized Dr. Alexandra Butterstein's proven and convincing expertise and experience in the legal fields of Liechtenstein's corporate, foundation and trust law, which are significant in the financial center.
Dr. Daniel Stockhammer has been appointed Professor of Building Culture and Circular Construction by the University Council, effective September 1, 2021. "The first-listed Daniel Stockhammer has specifically specialized his research in the field of upcycling and has positioned the Institute of Architecture and Spatial Development internationally with his broad publication activity. His concept of building culture and circular construction is comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics. Dr. Stockhammer is already very well connected and regionally active in Liechtenstein and in the region," emphasizes Prof. Urs Meister, Chairman of the Appointment Advisory Board.
