Also this year the students of the master’s program BPM got together for the almost traditional kick-off event in Malbun. The director of studies, Prof. Dr. Jan vom Brocke, the lecturers Dr. Ed Weiss and Hagen Pöhnert introduced the future master students in the course of the module "Business Process Analysis" into their instructive and exciting master's program.
The introductory course took three days, where the main focus was on getting to know each other, on living, on working as well as on analyzing (and solving!) conflicts. As part of this exciting kick-off, also rescue exercises were rehearsed with the support of Chris Frommelt and the Liechtenstein Mountain Rescue Team. Tasks, such as abseiling on overhanging rocks and competitions of two teams in bridge construction, enormously strengthened the team spirit of the students, who come from over 15 countries. In these three days they have grown together to a powerful team.
In several reflection loops at the same time numerous links to business process management have been drawn, which will be of great importance in the upcoming seminars and projects.
