On Wednesday, 03 June, Klaus Naescher signed a research agreement between the University of Liechtenstein and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation (CCI). The CCI is an internationally recognized research network funded by the Australian government. The network includes prominent Australian research institutions such as Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), as well as international partners such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Stanford Law School. In cooperation with its partners, the University of Liechtenstein will investigate the role of information technology in supporting creativity and innovation in contemporary organizations; a topic which is also of high relevance to Liechtenstein’s future as a competitive business region. Chief investigators at the University of Liechtenstein are Professor Jan vom Brocke (Director of the Institute of Information Systems) and Dr Stefan Seidel (Assistant Professor at the Institute of Information Systems).
