This year, 27 participants from Germany, Lithuania, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Bulgaria, Korea, Australia, Egypt and Kazakhstan took the opportunity to acquire a basic understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) and Data Science. They were given an insight into BPM and data science by scientific and practical experts, including two lecturers from the University of Münster, who gave a talk on workflow management.
The Winter School also included practical exercises and business planning games as well as presentations on the research projects of the PhD students from the Institute of Information Systems (IWI). Visits to leading international companies in the region such as Hilti and Swarovski were also on the agenda, as were social events with sledding and fondue, raclette and a glühwein party at the IWI.
