Anna Golebiewska - On Sunday, 23rd June 2013 the group of international students of SS2013 decided to hit the mountains for the last time. The choice was the marvelous hiking route of Liechtenstein - Fürstensteig (Prince’s Way).
Starting in the morning, the team of about 25 students and university representatives left the student dormitory and headed up the mountains towards the beginning of the track, place called Alp Gaflei situated 1400 meters above the sea level. Its breathtaking scenery was just a promising beginning of 5 hours hike full of exciting panoramas and challenging routes. The track is a special kind of experience as many of the passages are secured with ropes and railings to hold on. Following those exciting mountain pines and green pastures the group climbed continuously exploring spectacular landscape, eventually reaching Alp Garsälli.
The track appeared to be the experience of a special kind, with atmosphere bolstered by mysterious fog surrounding the mountains that day. Even though it appeared to be an obstacle to fully enjoy the scenery, everybody was impressed by the beauty of this famous track.
The hike was guided by Mr. Hansjörg Hilti, the former dean of the Architecture Department, who turned out as the expert in the region history and hiking routes of Liechtenstein. Mr. Hilti not only provided us with many interesting details and stories about the region, but also kindly invited the whole group to his summer house, located in the mountains nearby the track and served with local specialty – Obstschnaps. 
It provided the perfect opportunity to make the last toast for our wonderful semester and all the great moments we have all experienced in this welcoming country. Thank you, Liechtenstein!
