On 5 June 2012, 22 employees of VP Bank celebrated their successful completion of the continuing education programme in National and International Taxation.
Currently, the continuing education programme in National and International Taxation is being held for the fourth time. At an awards ceremony, the participants of the third round have now been presented with their certificates. The programme is offered by the Chair for Tax Management and the Laws of Liechtenstein and International Taxation at the University of Liechtenstein, in cooperation with VP Bank. So far, more than 75 VP Bank employees have attended this continuing education programme.
Basic knowledge is indispensable
For people who are active in the financial services industry in Europe, fundamental knowledge of national and international taxation is a necessity nowadays in order to provide client-oriented consulting services. With the targeted (continuing) education of its entire staff in this area, VP Bank has taken on a pioneering role. From client advisers to compliance staff, employees are trained in national and international taxation in Liechtenstein, Germany and Switzerland, the double taxation treaties and tax information exchange agreements between these countries, and international tax planning in relation to companies, asset structures and financial instruments. The programme aims to provide employees with the required know-how and to increase their awareness when dealing with questions related to tax matters.
VP Bank and the University of Liechtenstein congratulate the graduates on their successful completion of the programme, wishing them all the best in their careers.
