On 24 May 2012, a conference on the topic of “Liechtenstein – an Excellent Jurisdiction for Tax-Compliant Planning” was hosted in Vaduz. At this event, which was held in English, Professor Martin Wenz spoke on international tax planning with Liechtenstein structures from a German perspective.
In his speech, Professor Martin Wenz, who holds the Chair for Tax Management and the Laws of Liechtenstein and International Taxation at the University of Liechtenstein, referred to the Liechtenstein and German tax systems and the current developments in international tax cooperation between the two countries. On the basis of numerous cases, he highlighted specific measures for international tax planning with Liechtenstein structures from a German perspective.
The conference also included further talks on international tax planning with Liechtenstein structures from the perspectives of Argentina, Brazil, France, India, Italy, Malta, Russia, Switzerland, the UK and Uruguay.
